My son goes down in the rain all the time to walk our dog. He wears a short raincoat so his legs do get wet. Im always worried about him catching a cold. Now i will make my wife read this and make her prepare soups for dinner everyday.

First time i read that showering is good after getting wet. i thought that hot shower after cold rain will infact make you sick. so thanks for explaining how hot showers can make body temp normal.

Thanks for these tips indiaparenting. because i read this, i went and was shocked to see the amount of water stored behind my building for the servants. it was so old and moss was everywhere. i brought it to my society's attention and got it cleaned. otherwise im sure it would have been malaria central this monsoon

awwww.. why no for pakodas! Thats what signifies rainy season fun for me and my family. We drive up to Mahabaleshwar from Mumbai specially to have the makai pakodas! I guess we will restrict them and only have a few times.. :(
